GEOINT Analysis Trainer & Instructor
Salary Range: Rate/Salary commensurate experience
Duty Location: Washington, DC Metro area and St. Louis, MO – TRAVEL REQUIRED

Eligibility/Clearance Requirements: US CITIZENSHIP and TS/SCI Clearance

 

Position Summary

Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Leverage assessment strategies in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise in the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and leverage expertise in developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Apply expertise in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) sciences, technology, and data science. This position requires travel.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a GEOINT instructor and trainer

  • Experience in a government operating environment, including the intelligence community (IC) and DoD

  • Knowledge of geospatial data and imagery analysis, including how to use image science, analytic methods, data science, opens source research, and human geography to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce GEOINT

  • Knowledge of national imagery exploitation processes, policies, and production cycles and the principles and applications of geographic information systems

  • Knowledge of the breadth of GEOINT products and services

  • Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • In addition to active TS/SCI clearance, willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience with instruction, science, and technology, MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience with instruction, science, and technology, or 20 years of experience with instruction, science, or technology in lieu of a degree

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a US government agency

  • Course instruction or teaching certification
