With over 20 years of experience in the government sector and a 14-year track record of leadership, Rob Saenz embodies the forward-thinking and hands-on leadership style that defines Catalyst Operations & Analytics. Since founding the company in 2017, Rob has been committed to creating a space where careers flourish, and personal aspirations are just as valued as professional growth. As CEO for the past 5 years, Rob’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that success should be built on meritocracy, creativity, and opportunity. He envisioned Catalyst as more than just a company—it’s a platform where employees’ ambitions can align with the company’s collective progress. Under his leadership, Catalyst has seen continued growth and expanded its services into multiple areas, with a primary focus on artificial intelligence and bridging the gap between technology and government. Rob’s decision-making is driven by a balance of strategic foresight and a commitment to merit. With over 25 years of experience in the national security sector, Jason plays a critical role in enhancing Catalyst’s operational efficiency and managing the company’s fiscal strength, while also helping drive the Catalyst’s growth trajectory. Since the formative period of the company in 2017, his expertise in translating strategic vision into streamlined business processes, combined with a deep understanding of the commercial and government contracting landscape, allows him to deliver exceptional outcomes that align seamlessly with Catalyst’s mission and long-term objectives. Jason’s commitment to operational excellence and business efficiency ensures that the company remains agile, competitive, and well-positioned for sustained success. Jason and his family enjoy lakeside getaways across the US.
Ali Ibrahimi
Chief Technology Officer
Ali serves as Catalyst's CTO, focused on bringing innovative technological solutions in the field of cyber and Artificial Intelligence to our client base. In addition, he leads Catalyst's portfolio of technology and cyber programs that provide expert teams to our government clients. With over 20+ years of cyber security and technical consulting experience to public sector customers, Ali brings a wealth of first-hand expertise and knowledge of our customer needs allowing Catalyst to provide superior staffing services and innovative technical products. (One of Ali's favorite places he has visited so far is Kyoto, Japan.)
Engin Toper
Senior Program Manager
As Senior Program Manager and member of the leadership team, Engin brings over 13 years of security technology and technical consulting experience with government contracts. Engin's personal approach to personnel and client management ensures delivery across multiple contracts with mission success at the core of every interaction. He has enjoyed traveling both for business and leisure with one his favorite places being from a more recent trip to the port city of Lisbon, Portugal.
Sonny Mazahar
Senior Technical Program Manager
As Senior Technical Program Manager and a key member of Catalyst’s leadership team, Sonny leads Catalyst’s technical team delivering innovative solutions to our government clients, ensuring mission success and operational efficiency. Sonny brings over 13 years of experience in the military and intelligence community, where he has excelled in technical roles and operational leadership. Among his many travels, Seoul, South Korea remains a standout destination.
Tracy Hammerschmidt
Director of Resource Strategy
As Catalyst has experienced rapid growth in recent years, Tracy has taken on the inaugural role of Director of Resource Strategy. In this position, she leads strategic initiatives to capitalize on Catalyst's strengths, driving innovation across both public and private operations. With over 25 years of experience in the intelligence community, military, and public sectors, Tracy seamlessly fits into Catalyst's dynamic, action-oriented team. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to historic sites with her family, bringing to life the places she reads about.
Colleen Dill
Director of Human Resources
As Catalyst’s Director of Human Resources, Colleen is committed to the success of both the company and its people. With over 20 years of experience in HR, she leads the charge in building strong, high-performing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture. Colleen ensures that Catalyst’s values and strategic goals are reflected in every part of the employee experience, driving engagement and growth. Outside of work, Colleen loves spending time with her husband, attending concerts, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. Her ultimate escape is sitting on a beach in Aruba, soaking in the sunset.
