
Collection Instructor (GEOINT)
Salary Range: Rate/Salary commensurate experience
Duty Location: Washington, DC Metro area
Eligibility/Clearance Requirements: US CITIZENSHIP and TS/SCI Clearance
Position Summary
Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Provide subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and leverage experience developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, and industrial organizations. Leverage subject matter expertise experience, including experience in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) sciences, technology, and data science.

Basic Qualifications

Experience as a GEOINT instructor and trainer and with geospatial collection, foundation collection, open source research, requirements and integration analysis, source strategies analysis, or throughput strategies analysis

Experience in the government operating environment within the intelligence community (IC) and DoD

Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning

Ability and to travel up to 50% of the time

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in a professional or military environment or BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience in a professional or military environment

Additional Qualifications
-
Experience with instructing or solving intelligence problems and filling intelligence gaps through collection of airborne and space-borne imagery

Experience with creating and submitting requirements, instructing GIMS, or related tool

Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a US government agency
-
MS or MA degree

Course instruction or teaching certification
