All-Source Intelligence Analyst
Salary Range: Rate/Salary commensurate experience
Duty Location: Washington, DC Metro area

US CITIZENSHIP and TS/SCI Clearance w/ polygraph required (no exceptions)

 

Position Summary

All-Source Intelligence Analysts conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. 

 

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years; OR, a Bachelor’s degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 20 years of experience conducting analysis, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong research, critical thinking and analytic skills

  • Working knowledge of (preferably hands-on experience with) databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, M3, TAC, HOTR, Google Earth, Intelink, National Exploitation System, Gemini, MIDB, GCCS-J, various message handling systems.

  • Must possess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standards.

  • Senior and Expert positions respond to changes in analytical priorities and review work outputs of Junior and Mid-Level personnel. May supervise lower-level analysts.
